Iran

On my first flight in country, I had to complete my border quals.  I flew out to the border with Iran. Yes that is correct, I actually have seen a small part of Iran.  Once I have my camera, I will take some more photos.  The Ziggaraut of Ur is right outside of the base. I've seen it from the air and in a distance from the ground.  Hopefully, we will be able to get a tour of it while I am here.

I had a friend who asked for me send pictures during this deployment, so I thought I would blog to keep folks up with what I'm doing here in Iraq.  I've been here for about a week and a half. Prior to that I spent a month in Kuwait.  Here are a few photos from the deser of Kuwait.  I had to travel between Udari and Kuwait City several times.
